Hi! It seems we have some similar tastes! I wasn't a fan of the New Jedi Order series, either, haha. That series made a lot of decisions I wasn't fond of, including killing off Chewbacca. I haven't read Dark Rendezvous, but I'd like to do that at some point!
And I actually have started posting the fanfic I mentioned. It's called Heart of Shadow and it's here:
It's a Palpatine redemption fic. One of the main characters, Mother Talzin, is a Nightsister, so naturally I've been trying to throw in references from Courtship of Princess Leia. I plan to eventually include the Light Side Dathomirians as well, but I have a huge villain fixation, hence my focus on the Nightsisters haha.
Also the two pieces of artwork (done by sl_walker) here was inspired by the above story:
This is a one-shot that shows her during the time she would have been working as the Emperor's Hand. Because I always thought it would have been cool to see her in Rebels.
